How does the free plan work?
The Preview plan gives you permanent access to realistic preview data — a fictional checking account, transactions, spending summaries, and an investment portfolio. No bank linking, no credit card required. Upgrade to Basic or Pro to connect your real accounts.
What is a "linked account"?
A linked account is a bank account, credit card, investment brokerage, or loan connected via Plaid. Each financial institution connection may have multiple accounts.
How do AI agents access my data?
Generate an API key in your dashboard, then pass it as a Bearer token. AI agents call our MCP-compatible REST endpoints to read your financial data.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use read-only Plaid connections. Your credentials are never stored — only encrypted access tokens. All data is encrypted at rest.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your billing period.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. We do not store card details.
